Funding and Finance
The Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County engages in a successful development program that has allowed it to secure funding to support its $1.9 million annual budget from diverse sources, including local foundations, annual events, local, state and federal governments, corporate sponsorships, and targeted major donor solicitations.
The Fund for Justice, Legal Aid’s recently established endowment fund, is an enduring and permanent and source of revenue. The Fund for Justice is housed at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. A planned gift can be a lasting way to ensure justice for all low-income residents in our community.
