In 2005 the Silicon Valley office provided approximately 1,500 pro bono hours assisting low-income clients in the areas of landlord tenant matters, school discipline cases and contested guardianship matters. Legal Aid was honored to nominate McDermott Will & Emery for their commitment to serving those who would otherwise be unrepresented in San Mateo County, and proud that they were chosen for this well deserved award.
