PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Legal Aid Society provides free legal advice and assistance to low-income residents of San Mateo County. To request an appointment, please call (650) 558-0915.

The LIBRE Project is an immigrant rights project designed to increase access to safety net benefits among eligible immigrant residents of San Mateo County. We provide legal advice and representation related to:

• Medi-Cal
• Food Stamps (CalFRESH)
• CalWORKs
• Social Security

A LIBRE attorney is available to meet with clients at various times and locations in the County. Our intake locations are at:

East Palo Alto/Belle Haven
Mondays
1200 O’Brien Dr., Menlo Park
At JobTrain

Half Moon Bay
3rd Wednesday of every month from 4-8pm
99 Ave. Alhambra, El Granada
At Rota Care Clinic

Redwood City
2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month from 3-7pm
2600 Middlefield Rd.
At the Fair Oaks Community Center
