PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Legal Aid Society provides free legal advice and assistance to low-income adults with special needs. To see if you are eligible for Legal Aid help, please call (650) 558-0915.

The Clients’ Rights Advocate (CRA) provides legal services to adults with disabilities in San Mateo County. The program focuses on issues of eligibility, due process rights, and access to public services and benefits. Legal Aid helps with legal issues involving:

• County mental health
• Family law
• Government benefits
• Medical bills
• Accommodation requests
• Transit and paratransit
