Housing Resources

The Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County's HomeSavers Project helps tenants who are having problems with their landlords. We offer legal counseling, advice and representation in the following areas:

  • Evictions

  • Disputes over the condition of the premises

  • Illegal acts by landlords

NOTE: If you have been served with an Unlawful Detainer (eviction) summons and  complaint, or if you need to postpone a lockout by the Sheriff, call Legal Aid immediately at 650-517-8911 to avoid missing important deadlines.

Tenants can call Legal Aid at (650) 517-8911 for assistance with housing issues.
